Dog Trainers to instruct classes and in-home coaching

Career training in Dog Training and/or,
One on one mentoring in Dog Training and/or,
Self-taught with substantial experience and education
Certified with CCPDT, KPA, or IAABC or plans to earn such certification within one year of employment.
Provide an outstanding first impression of our services to clients as well as first class customer service.
An understanding of, and commitment to, organization, cleanliness, following directions, and common sense are necessary.
Be able to work without supervision.
Working as a team player.
Teaching a group class in indoor and outdoor settings, with enthusiasm and empathy, for up to 6 students.
Perform in-home consultations and coaching sessions, with enthusiasm and empathy.
Record client information, health records, behavioral observations, notes, rosters, and reports – in both hard files and computer files.
Own and operate a smart phone capable of running email, a calendar, web browser and the SLACK app.
Own and operate a computer capable of running email, a calendar, web browser, and Dropbox.
Ability to learn web based booking software.
Maintain an up to date calendar and be responsible for all appointments and scheduled classes.
Own, maintain and operate personal vehicle.
Periodically work advertising/information tables and events
A typical schedule for this position includes teaching approximately 2-6 classes a week. Potential to expand to more classes per week based on demand. In-home clients are based on demand and effort to recruit clients. All marketing materials and advertising assistance will be provided.
