Due to scheduling conflicts, Saturday Walking Club meetings have been rescheduled to Sunday Mornings.

Also after October 3rd, Monday Walking Club Meetings will no longer be meeting. We will only be meeting on Sunday Mornings.

 

Huricane Irene is coming!

As the emergency experts are saying, it is time to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. So, we just wanted to remind you of some important things that you should consider for you and your pets as Hurricane Irene approaches:

  • Emergency items you should consider for your pets include water, pet food, bedding, pet clean up products, pet medicines, etc.
  • Travel bowls and extra leads and collars should be part of your emergency kit.
  • Should you need to evacuate, please note that not all shelters accept pets, so check with emergency shelters ahead of time.
  • Favorite toys and treats can be very comforting to your pets during rough weather, especially if they need to be away from their normal environment.

 

Delaware River Dog Walking Club - Starting September 5th!

Monday Mornings from 9-10am and Saturday Mornings from 10-11am

A great oppurtunity for you and your dog to exercise, socialize, and work on your dogs obedience and walking skills.

We meet at the Delaware Tow Path at 12th St. in Frenchtown NJ.

Shy or reactive dogs needing personal space are to wear red bandanas so that we can respect their needs and can ensure they can enjoy the walk along with everyone else.

No Flexi or retractable leashes. No more than two dogs per person please. Dogs must be under the control of the owner at all times.

Bring training treats, water, and poop bags.

The walks last ~40 minutes with a warmup beforehand and basic obedience training and question time at the end.

New members please bring proof of rabies.

Cost is $5.
