2015-2016 Seminars

Looking to book a seminar with Molly for 2015?
Currently we only have openings in late 2015 available. Please contact us soon if you wish to book her for any date after mid-October. There is still time available in Molly's calendar for 2016.

Do you belong to a group who would benefit from a seminar about dogs? We can build a program or seminar based on your needs.  Whether it's finding the right dog for your family, dog behavior, pet safety, canine body language, or other related topics regarding dogs and other pets, we can help!  We also have handouts explaining behaviors as well as informational topics regarding all things pets – just ask!

"Reading" Your Dog's Body Language
with Molly Sumner of Kindred Companions LLC

Do you know when your dog is feeling anxious? Sick? Now quite themselves? Ever wish you could know what is on your dog's mind? Dogs communicate via body language and while most people know the basics, dogs are actually very detailed communicators. To the untrained eye, we miss so much of what our dogs are trying to tell us.
Molly Sumner CDBC, CPDT-KSA, CBATI, of Kindred Companions wil teach you the details of canine communication, dispel some myths, and help you better understand your companions in ways you never knew were possible. Because once a dog knows you're listening... they really show you who they are. Molly will bring one of her dogs to demostrate. The program is for "people" only, so please leave your pet at home.
This program is FREE and open to the public.
Due to the popularity of our programs, we recommend reserving a seat. Please call 908-730-6135 or click on the Calendar of events at

Be your Dog's Best Friend with "Force Free Dog Training: Training
Without Fear, Intimidation or Pain"

Molly Sumner CPDT-KA, CBATI, CWRI, will be speaking and demonstrating a relatively new method of dog training known as "Force Free Dog Training". Force Free Training uses scientifically based methods to teach your pet to understand what you want them to do and how to get the results you're looking for. The method uses no pain, fear or intimidation. This means that your dog will love it and love you for it. Learn how to create the bond you've always wanted with your dog. Molly will cover everything from basic training, manners, behavioral problems, to dog sports and therapy work. Please do not bring a dog. For this class Molly will be bringing some of her own dogs to demonstrate how to use this training at home. Children 12+ are welcome accompanied by an adult.
